You call.
Tell our front desk what's going on — a checkup, a cleaning, a sore tooth, a second opinion. We'll find a time that works.
New patients
Call us, tell us what's going on, and we'll get you on the schedule. No hoops, no online forms to chase down.
Tell our front desk what's going on — a checkup, a cleaning, a sore tooth, a second opinion. We'll find a time that works.
Bring a photo ID, your insurance card if you have one, and a list of any medications you take. If it's your first visit, show up 15 minutes early — there's a little paperwork.
Dr. Walgren sits down with you before any tools come out: your history, your concerns, what you want out of the visit. Then a full exam covering every tooth, your gums, your bite, an oral cancer screening, and x-rays if they're due. Cleanings aren't one-size-fits-all, so he looks first and plans from there.
We numb things properly, we check in often, and we stop if you need a break. Dentistry shouldn't hurt — we mean that.
We're in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Delta Dental, and DeltaCare USA, and we accept most other major plans. If you're not sure whether we take yours, give us a call and we'll check.
No insurance? That's fine too. We'll be straightforward about what things cost before we do them.
We see the whole family. Kids' first visits are usually a quick look, a count of teeth, and a ride in the chair. We don't rush them and we don't lie about what's going to happen.
Tell us. Lots of people are. We'll go slower, explain more, and check in often. If you've put off a visit because of a bad experience years ago, you are not alone and we won't judge.
Ask your old office to send your records and recent x-rays to admin@WalgrenDental.com before your visit. It spares you repeat x-rays and gives Dr. Walgren the full picture on day one.
Life happens. Give us a day's notice when you can, so someone else can take the slot. We'll find you a new one.
